Radler has always been a generic name. Trademarking the word is similar to trademarking terms like Lager, Pilsner or Ale.
When Boundary Road Brewery were refused permission to describe their beer as being a "radler", because of DB Breweries' trademark, they used this billboard to appeal to the court of public opinion.
A lawyer's letter has been received.
